SUPAFEST - what an event !!!

The first major combination of the hip hop community with the automotive aftermarket scene in Brisbane and it went off without a hitch!

For all those who came up to say hi to us at the stand [in the very very  very hot entry hall with the rocking DJ's from MYSTIQUE NITECLUB - a large thank you and I hope you got the answers to what you were looking for

Today marks a grand day down on the east coast, as we would like to welcome back the grandpa old man himself, Nathan Fischer to the team. Anyone who has been with us a for a while will remember gramps, as he previously worked with us for many a year until taking some time off. But back and better (and older) than ever, he is a welcome re-addition to the team! For those who know gramps, come down and say hi... for the new comers, come down anyway :D

Welcome to 2010 everyone! Door are officially open again, however the renovations over the festive seasons met their fair share of setbacks, and the workshop expansion is still in progress. This wont stop us from continuing to offer our great service to you guys, and the phones are already going crazy with bookings (seems some peoples new year resolutions revolved around building some SERIOUS machinery :D ). Ours door have now officially closed for 2009, will re-open again on January 4 2010.. 

The phones have been redirected straight through too voicemail, but if anyone has any inquiries, please dont hesitate to call or email, as we will be in at the shop throughout the whole festive season break (just not open for trading), and will still be responding to all voicemails left and emails sent.

While i have everyones attention, I would like to extend my kindest regards, thoughts, thanks and appreciation to all our customers and supplier out there. Without you, living our dream, and building yours, would not be possible. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you again and we look forward to many more experiences to come!

On a site note, as some of you may have heard, over the xmas break (no rest for the wicked) we will be expanding our shop too over DOUBLE THE SIZE - more hoists, more room, more staff, more equipment, same great location, same great service!

What I am about too say is actually old news now, as it happened a few months ago, but have been extremely busy (thank you too all our wonderful customers) in the shop or on the dyno too remember too keep the site updated..

East Coast Customs have been appointed Brisbane's first and currently ONLY official NISTUNE dealers..

For those of you who have not heard of Nistune, please click on the link just above... For a quick summary, Nistune provides real time, fully programmable mapping and tuning for your standard Nissan ECU.. Even better than this, it will still retain absolutely ALL factory features that can often be lost when moving over too a different aftermarket ecu.

Too everyone who has rung or enquired about our interest free finance options - our sincerest apologies for not being able too offer it for the past 6 months or so. The finance company we were using went bankrupt during the recssion, and hence we were not able too provide this service anymore
 

We have just signed with a new company, with even better rates, option, and services, and should be in full operation with interest free finance once again, within the nextfortnight or so.

What a great weekend out at Racelines stadium drift / one night stand event !!!

A massive congratulations must go out too Ben "kobe" Pace, in the East Coast Customs 1JZ sil80 drift car for placing second in the L2 division... It must also be said that he was very unlucky too not take out the victory in the final with 3/4 flawless runs, with his competitor both spinning out and coming off thetrack numerous times, too be still be handed the win :( 

Paul "polo' Lewis also tore it up in the East Coast Customs RB25 180 too add some more points oo his solid standings in the stadium drift series.

A quick congratulation to Paul "polo" Lewis for his outstanding efforts at Stadium Drift on the weekend out at QLD raceway.. Out of a tough level 2 field, Paul placed fourth overall and was unlucky not too go further - being disqaulifed from the prelimary final battle.. After dominating the first battle, and clearly ahead in the second, Polo popped a intercooler hose off.. pulled into pitlane for 20 seconds too repair it, but was then disqaulified immediately for leaving the track - even though well and truly ready in time for the 3rd run if necessary.

 Still an outstanding effort and a great weeknd!!

 Special mention must also go to our camo RB26/30 "GTR ETA" s15 - which took out the prize for "wildest engine bay" in the show and shine competion !!

Wow 2008 gone so quickly and what a fantastic year. What a weekend Powercruise 14 was !!!!

A big congratulations to Benny aka "Kobe" for driving the East Coast Customs 1JZ SIL80 drift car to a Top 5 place in the drifting competition held throught the weekend. A great effort for the cars very first competition...

Also, congratulations to Paul Lewis aka "Polo", in the East Coast Customs RB25 180, who narrowly missed out on a top 5 place due to a simple fuel pump fuse blowing mid run, but drove like an animal and shredded tyres all weekend long!
A great effort for Polo's first time out in the car - an even greater effort considering that 48 hours before the event, the car had no engine, powertrain, ecu, drivetrain, wiring harness or even an interior!

With both cars now up and running and frying tyres like they were built to do, and with a third on its way, keep an eye out for the East Coast soliders at all up coming events !!!

The ECC Rb26/30 s15 is almost ready.. After winning its only ever dyno comp on a base tune with the standard rb26 gtr motor in it with 493hp untuned, the freshly built forged rb26/30 combo is now in, wired up, idle tune done and ready for dyno...
